Elections and Voting Action Team

Elections and Voting Action Team focuses on empowering and educating citizens to actively participate in the democratic process by promoting informed voting, advocating for fair and accessible elections, and fostering civic engagement. We are committed to upholding the principles of nonpartisanship, inclusivity, and transparency to ensure that every eligible voter has the opportunity and confidence to cast their ballot every candidate has their voice heard.​

  • Inform members and citizens about the voting system in El Paso County.
  • Collaborate with other “Get Out the Vote” organizations and efforts.
  • Identify, Support and Promote Pro-Democracy Candidates.

Current Projects

  • Outreach – making connections and collaborating with organizations and groups with shared values and goals
  • Voter Guide – create a pro-democracy voter guide with input and collaboration from local expert groups
  • Congressional District 5 Forum – host primary ballot candidates
  • Social Media – expand messaging reach to educate voters
  • Get out the Vote – focus on southeast region of Colorado Springs
  • Boots on the Ground – activate and coordinate phone banking, post-carding, candidate support, canvassing, and meet and greets
  • Representative Accountability – expose Jeff Crank’s lack of responsibility to his constituents
